Ayeyar Chan Thar luxury housing set for 2018 finish


Myanmar real estate news January 2018 has been set as the completion date for the first phase of the Ayeyar Chan Thar luxury housing complex in Dagon Seikkan township. Phase one of the project is now about 40 percent complete, said spokesperson Daw Hla Thuzar New yesterday.

The project is being built on 20 acres by the Ministry of Construction and Chan Thar Shwe Myay company as part of the new Dagon Seikkan township project to build homes on 220 acres.

Ten 18-storey buildings comprising 4000 units ranging in size from 600 to 1200 square feet, said Daw Hla Thuzar Nwe.

The sale of the apartments in the first of those buildings would begin in January 2018, she said.

“We’re about 40pc complete now in phase 1,” she said. Prices are in the vicinity of K60 million.

Buyers will be able to occupy the apartments after paying half the purchase price, with the remaining half to be paid over 10 years.

“Owners can live in or rent the unit while completing the payment by instalments,” she said.

The development is about 12 kilometres (7.5 miles) from downtown Yangon, about 40 minutes’ drive.
